Indian-Spiced Kale

  • a medium onion, sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups frozen kale
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon curry tea
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce sriracha to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup water


  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the onion and saute until transparent.
  2. Add the spices, sauce and salt to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the water.
  3. Add kale, stir well and cook about 10 minutes or until the kale is warm and well mixed.
